Welcome to St Mary’s Church

We're glad you're here! This page will give you some helpful information about our Sunday services. It will give you an idea of what to expect when you visit and some practical information.
St Mary’s is a Church of England charismatic evangelical church. Our vision is to see every person and every place saturated with God. We long to see revival and to see the transformation of our community, as people encounter God and discover the adventure of His kingdom.

When and Where

We meet at 8:45am and 10:30am on Sundays as well as 12noon on Wednesdays at St Mary’s Church, 201 High Road, Loughton, IG10 1BB

Our exciting new building project called The Hope Centre has now been completed.  This means that our car park is now open for use to those using the St Marys grounds.   Public car parks and road-side parking is available in the nearby streets. Loughton Tube Station is only a 7 minute walk away. Just walk up Station Road and turn right when you get to the High Road.  See Contact Us for more details on parking.

What to expect

When you arrive you will be greeted by a member of our Welcome team and they will help you find your seats. They will also be able to help you with any questions or concerns you may have about your visit.

The service usually starts with a time of singing led by a worship band. We start with all the children and young people in the service, then after 15 minutes, they go into groups that are age-appropriate for them, led by DBS checked children’s and youth leaders. You can return to the service where someone will preach from the Bible. Then at the end of the talk there is usually an opportunity to be prayed for. Tea and coffee is served after the meeting at 12 noon.

NB: There is no dress code at St Mary’s. Come are you are. We are informal.
